Embeddable Framework Setup

To enable MiraBridge Phone, you need to install and configure the Genesys Cloud Embeddable Framework integration.

Step 1: Install the Genesys Cloud Embeddable Framework

  1. In Genesys Cloud, navigate to Admin > Integrations
  2. Click Add Integration
  3. Search for: Genesys Cloud Embeddable Framework
  4. Select the integration and click Install

Step 2: Configure the Integration

  1. In the installed integration, go to the Details tab
  2. Enter a descriptive name
    Example: MiraBridge Phone
  3. In the Configuration tab:
    • Upload the static framework.js file provided by MiraBridge
    • Contact your MiraBridge representative to obtain the latest framework.js file

Step 3: (Optional) Assign Agent Groups

  • If you want to limit access, go to the Access Control tab and select agent groups
  • If no groups are selected, the integration is available to all agents

Step 4: Activate the Integration

  • Toggle the Status switch to Active to enable the integration

Verification

After activation, verify the integration is working:

  1. Check integration status: Ensure the status shows as “Active” in the Integrations list
  2. Test agent access: Have a test agent log into Genesys Cloud and verify they can access embedded applications
  3. Review logs: Check for any error messages in the integration logs

Common Issues

Integration fails to activate:

  • Verify the framework.js file was uploaded successfully
  • Check that the file is not corrupted or empty
  • Ensure you have administrative permissions in Genesys Cloud

Agents can’t access embedded apps:

  • Verify agent permissions are configured correctly (see Permissions)
  • Check that the integration is assigned to the correct agent groups
  • Confirm the OAuth client is properly configured (see OAuth Setup)
