Browser Requirements for MiraBridge Phone

MiraBridge Phone uses the Genesys Cloud Embeddable Framework and inherits its browser requirements. To ensure optimal compatibility and performance, use one of the following supported browsers, always maintained at the latest version:

  • Google Chrome (recommended for best performance)
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based versions only)

Important Notes:

  • Internet Explorer is deprecated and completely unsupported for Genesys Cloud embedded clients
  • Safari may work for basic functionality but is not officially supported and users may experience limited functionality, audio issues, or unexpected behavior
  • Mobile browsers are not currently supported for agent interfaces

System Requirements

Minimum Hardware Requirements

For optimal performance, ensure agent workstations meet these specifications:

  • RAM: 8GB minimum, 16GB recommended
  • Processor: Dual-core 2.5GHz or equivalent
  • Network: Stable broadband connection (25 Mbps down, 5 Mbps up minimum)
  • Audio: Dedicated headset recommended for call quality

Network Requirements

Ensure your network infrastructure supports:

  • Outbound HTTPS connections on ports 80 and 443
  • WebRTC traffic for real-time communication
  • WebSocket connections for real-time updates
  • Access to *.mirabridge.cloud and *.genesys.com domains

Corporate Environment Considerations

If deploying in a corporate environment:

  • Work with IT teams to configure firewall exceptions
  • Ensure proxy servers support WebSocket connections
  • Validate that content security policies allow iframe embedding
  • Test from the actual production network environment

WebRTC Phone Requirements

If you plan to use WebRTC-based softphones:

  • Make sure to disable any pop-up blockers in your browser, as they can interfere with phone call windows.
